Mary Fickett was born on May 23, 1932 in Bronxville, NY. She has played Ruth Brent Martin on All My Children from1970-96, then again from 1998 until the present. She appeared on the series The Nurses as Liz Thorpe and on The Edge of Night as Sally Smith (1961) and Dr. Katherine Lovell (1967-1968).
