A New York City native, Hugh moved to Dallas after graduating from high school and became a graphic web site designer.  At the suggestion of friends, she enrolled in acting classes which quickly led to commercial spots and actors' workshops.  Her first principal role was that of Liat in a well-received production of South Pacific.  She auditioned for and was cast in the role of Tina Harding on AMC, originating the character.\

Ms. Hugh resides in Manhattan with her dog, Isis.  Her hobbies include kickboxing and martial arts, and designing clothing and jewelry.
