Esta TerBlanche was born on 7 January, 1977 in Rusterburg, South Africa. She trained at The School for Art, Music, Ballet and Drama and The Academy for Drama and Arts. TerBlanche starred in South Africa's number one soap opera, Egoli, from 1992 until 1995, and her theatre credits include The Glass Menagerie, Pygmalian, Hear Ye, Hear Ye, and Ten Times Worse on a Friday Afternoon. She also starred in the South African film, Thieves and a Wedding, and in 1991 was crowned Miss Teen South Africa.
Esta TerBlanche speaks numerous languages, including French, Italian, Russian, German, English and Africaans. She is 5'7", and when not working enjoys show jumping and movies. She wed Andre Kock in 1997, and she and her husband reside in Manhattan.
