Happy Valentine's Day, belatedly!  I am feeling so much better today, for which I am well and truly grateful.  It feels as if the last of the cold is finally working its way out of my body and I think I'm into my final box of tissues for this round.  The cold never went into full on bronchitis, so explosive chest pain wasn't too much of an issue, more of just overall weakness and frustrating coughing and nose blowing.  I think I might actually get some sleep tonight.  Both Eric and I have taken the three day weekend to heal and rejuvenate.  We've spent most of the time just holing up at home, resting and relaxing and trying to get well.  Just wanted to check in with you before going off to do the gossip column.

I'm working on some internal stuff for the coming week that isn't ready to come out just yet, but I'll fill you in as soon as it takes on better form.  It's still just vaporous now and I can't really put it well into words.

Something I've been wanting to do but have been putting off is to answer some questions about the 100 Things You May Not Have Known About Katrina column from a little over a week ago.  I've been putting it off because it's kind of a sticky subject to get into.  We skate around it a bit here (trust me, what you get is skating), but diving headlong into it is tricky business for a lot of reasons.  I've been getting so many letters asking questions, however, that I feel like it's something that I've been led to address, so I'm just going to go for it and trust that all of you are my friends and aren't going to go all stupid on me or anything.  Since it's quite lengthy, I have committed it to a different page, also for the benefit of the folks who aren't interested.

This particular column will forever be called "The Witch Column."

In it is basically anything you ever wanted to know about Katrina being a Witch.  From now on, I can point people to this page rather than answering the same questions again and again.  I think have pretty much addressed the different questions that have come across my desk regarding my choice of religious practice.  I hope this has opened a few windows to air out the myths (hopefully never to be seen again).

Back to your regularly scheduled whimsical shit tomorrow. Just had to get this one out of the way by popular demand.

Much lovins,
Katrina
