Thanks to (obviously) male TV
programmers, I'm going to have to clean my house today. Yesterday, my
second episode (the 11-12 one) of ER on TNT was pre-empted for the British Open
and today I see that "Senior Golf" is planned. Granted, I've already seen
the full season they are showing, but still, it's worth a rewatch rather than
airing people with perfect posture and bad clothes chase a ball over a well
manicured lawn with a crooked stick, aiming for the gopher holes. >:<
I agree with George Carlin. I want to buy a golf course, build my house on
it and fill in all the holes.
Meanwhile, I'm left with a major 2 hour
gap in my schedule and have to fill it, so since I have weekend pending, I
suppose I should do the honorable thing and use the time to clean house for the
weekend.
I have a really good feeling about the
next month. I leave for my trip to Studio City (the General Hospital fan
weekend) in less than a month and I am really looking forward to some time away
on my own. I'll be able to be with friends, but also have quiet time if I
need to with no one wanting anything from me.
The New Moon is in 4 days and I can
feel that it is bringing in the harvest energy with it. I'm almost
breathless with anticipation. This year has been so difficult, not just
for us, but for lots and lots of people and it's going to be great to have all
of that paying off for folks soon. People still just so naturally follow
the cycles of the centuries with their lives and even the ones who do not
consciously honor the turn of the seasons still seem to stick to the pattern.
Look for really good stuff and lots of fruition between August 1st and October
31st (harvest's end).
Things here are blissfully mellow.
We are able to get some bills paid today, as well as getting much needed
groceries tomorrow. One step at a time, we're getting back to normal again
and I can feel an incredible lessening of stress.
I've slept for at least 6 hours
straight during the last 3 nights, which hasn't happened in years. The
solid sleep has helped immensely and all of the pain in my head, neck and
shoulders is gone. I'm ready to relax and enjoy the weekend at my leisure.
Maybe even stop by the thrift store tomorrow for the first time in a couple of
months. (that's my therapy session, other than this journal) Before
I can enjoy the weekend I have to tie up the week, so I suppose I should get
busy.
I didn't really have much to say, but
just wanted to wish you all a wonderful weekend and tell you not to sweat
anything. The next month is going to bring with it some really awesome
stuff and I know we're all going to get a much needed pile of blessings.
Take care!
