More OLTL Scoops and a GH Shocker! There's more on the spoiler about Kelly thinking Todd/Walker raped Blair. Walker finds out that Blair has sex with Kevin (remember I told you about that steamy closed set?) on New Year's Eve and to keep him from claiming custody of Jack and Starr before she can get an annulment, Blair lies and says that Walker raped her. John Loprino will be returning to OLTL for a brief return engagement as Cordero Roberts. This is expected to facilitate the exit of Shanelle Workman as Sarah Roberts aka "Flash." Cord is the son of Clint (Viki's ex, Natalie's father and stepfather to Joey, Kevin and Jessica) and was last seen when he left for London to work with Clint. He was married to Viki's sister, Tina, and they have two children, Sarah and the oft mentioned but never seen CJ (Clinton James). Cord's mother was Maria Roberts (played by Barbara Luna), a Latino servant on the Buchanan ranch when Clint was a teenager. No air date for his return has yet been announced.
Chad Brannon (Zander, GH) announced on his official website that he will soon be leaving the show to embark on other pursuits. As much as fans of the talented actor braced for the idea that he might leave, given the recent changes in his character's persona, it still comes as a shock to those who were really hoping for a good Zander story. How this will affect the story involving Liz's baby is unknown at this time, as is a final airdate or how he will be leaving Port Charles. Brannon left this message for his fans:
"I will be leaving
General Hospital next year to pursue prime-time
and film opportunities. As I move forward to a new
phase in my life, I am eager to take on new
challenges, though I will miss all of my friends
and co-workers at GH. Be sure and check http://www.chadbrannon.net/ for developing info. ·.·´¨ ¨))

Two Hot OLTL Scoops! It has been confirmed that yes, Gabrielle becomes a victim of the Music Box Killer just after she and Bo share an emotional re-engagement. Also, Kelly gets a phone call and is told that Walker/Todd has raped Blair. Is it true or is it part of Blair's plan for revenge? What will Kevin do when Kelly tells him?

Hello Folks! My deepest thanks to everyone who donated to Eye on Soaps this month! On behalf of myself and our entire Eye on Soap staff (there are nine of us, ten if we count Sage, who is on walkabout), we very much appreciate your help. This month has been a seriously close call and it is purely by means of the generosity of our readers that we pulled through again. If anyone else would like to contribute to our site expenses, please click on "Options" and/or "Paypal" buttons to the above right. Again, thanks to everyone! How did Sage DO this? I had no idea what a pain in the ass a gossip and news column was to do! I have a newfound respect for all those who do this now! I'm a commentary person, so I'm used to just opening up my keyboard and letting words flow out on whatever happens to be going on with the shows. Usually, there's an infinite source of material there. Finding scoops (especially when there are none because the studios are in hush hush mode) is nearly painful! There are a few tidbits here and there, but folks, I'll be upfront and say that if you are looking for new stuff that has never been printed on the net, you won't likely find it in this week's column. Mostly, I'll be discussing info that is already out there because my new scoopage is down to nearly zero. AMC
Don't believe rumors that combining AMC and OLTL isn't being considered. While crossovers have always happened from time to time, the recent revolving door between OLTL and AMC forging connections between the two shows is far from coincidental. First, it was merely Alexa Havins (Babe, AMC) and Brock Cuchna (Paul, OLTL), but now heavy hitters Jill Larson (Opal, AMC) and Robin Strasser (Dorian, OLTL) will be trading shows for an episode or two. Larson will appear on OLTL on December 19 and Strasser will show up in Pine Valley, interacting with Adam Chandler, later on this month. AMC alumnus, Tonya Pinkins will be returning to AMC to revive her role as Livia Frye (sister of Derek and wife to Tom Cudahy). Jack contacts Livia to help Kendall beat her murder charges. Pinkins is said to be staying for 9 weeks and her first air date is December 18th.
British heartthrob, Aiden
Turner (Aidan Devane) went "One on One) with the
folks over at Soap City, revealing how his sweet
tooth led him to a career as a chef, studying at a
culinary school near London and an Accuvue contact
lens commercial opened the doors on his acting
career. You can read the full interview with
Turner by just clicking
here. Turner also revealed that his
dream would be to make it big in Hollywood.
(I'm not sure that's particularly unique in the
model-turned soap star breed!)
Jimmy DePaiva (ex-Max) wasn't completely sold on the idea of a Kassie DePaiva (Blair) website and read the content with more than a bit of trepidation, knowing how brutally cruel the net can be and in particular, the lack of popularity his character of Max was generating. He was amazed by the outpouring of support he received when he was released from the role earlier this year and left a very kind message for his fans at kassiedepaiva.com. You can get to the letter by clicking here. Scroll to the bottom for the letter itself. Remember that the special Blair episode of OLTL will air tomorrow to celebrate her 10th year on the show!
Blair finds out the truth about Walker tomorrow!!-------------------------->
Don't underestimate Ric's love for Elizabeth! With that whole messy "kidnapping the pregnant wife of his mob boss brother" incident long behind him, Ric is making heavy use of the creative license of SoapWorld to legitimize himself, even moving into work in the District Attorney's office! Elizabeth knows her heart and even though she's aware it's Zander's bun baking in her oven, she wants to be with Ric. They face a major obstacle when Ric becomes suspicious after getting clues from an unexpected source (some say it's Emily). Still, from what I've heard, the powers that be are ready to give romance a try with this couple, so while there will assuredly be drama, I don't expect it will blow the couple apart should the truth come out. Thursday is bye bye Lydia and AJ, as well as bye bye Quartermaine money.
Word is that the recast of Sage by Katie Stuart is already falling flat and meeting such disdain from fans that the move is currently toward quickly phasing out the character. It's not that the powers that be are in any way hesitant to push characters that we don't like on us with the delicacy of a charging rhino, but more that they were never particularly invested in the character. Putting an actress into the role who had so recently appeared on the show in a different role was such an act of stupidity that from what I hear, they are eager to put the whole mess behind them. If anyone is worried that the upcoming reunion of Carly and Sonny will leave Alcazar with no story, think again! He will continue to be around for a long while to come. Watch for Alcazar to go renegade on Carly when he learns she has taken Sonny to France and is standing by her man. He calls Scott on the spot and agrees to testify and delivers a moving speech about being afraid for his life should Sonny be released. Sonny is acquitted and Carly confronts Lorenzo, after which she collapses. A week from today, on December 15th, Carly regains her feelings for Sonny the same way she lost them, by dreaming them back. Sounds like the Journey break up might have stronger legs than was originally thought. Steve Burton was giving up NOTHING at his recent Texas appearances, but did say a long term contract was being negotiated and he expected to be around for another 3 years. Faith hijacks one of Sonny's shipments and to her surprise, it turns out to be a load of toys. Sonny puts the smack down and she makes nice and takes them to a church party.
Joining the ranks of the luckiest town on planet earth, Sam goes fishing for one boat and finds another, "The Courage," turning up a fortune, part of which is a diamond tiara. I go digging around and find green things in my fridge that used to be different colors, Luke finds half a million dollars and Sam finds a diamond tiara. I guess you have to know where to look. Wondering who gets that kiss under the mistletoe? It's Luke and Skye. Luke goes into a panic and tells her it can never happen again, which upsets Skye. She walks out on him, but later assures him she's not looking for love. Since the scoops are slim this week, I dug into the column archives to see if there were any old columns you might enjoy. Here are a few: Those Awful Couple Combined Names and Some That Should Be Soap People Who Look Like Real People That's about it, friends and netneighbors. I hope you have a peaceful and joyful week and when it comes to scoops, may you never jones... With Love, ·.·´¨ ¨))
